Welcome to the official website of Mixed Martial Artist Blas "the Disciple" Avena. After relocating to Las Vegas from Southern California, Blas began to learn the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and submission grappling. He also understood that the number one skill he could posess as a fighter would be the ability to train hard every day. Blas rose to the top of the WEC™ middleweight ranks and won over fans with his explosive striking and submission victories before his division was eliminated. Blas believes that he will be champion one day, but is enjoying every moment of the journey to the top and would like to thank all his supporters and sponsors.
